For greater travel convenience in Malaysia through public transport you may purchase a TnG card for RM 10 at any WATSONS store or the customer service kiosk at LRT KL Sentral (Kelana Jaya Line). You will also be provided with a TNG card free of cost, upon arrival at Monash University Malaysia. Alternatively, you may purchase a single ticket at the LRT/BRT/MRT stations. The TnG card is an electronic cash top-up card that can be used to pay for public transportation like the LRT, BRT, MRT and public buses. You can add money to it at any LRT/BRT/MRT station or selective petrol kiosks/convenience stores (KK Mart)

The conference will take place at Monash University Malaysia, Sunway campus. We are located in the Petaling district. 

 

1. LRT and BRT

 

The closest BRT station, SunU - Monash, lies on the Sunway BRT line (Connected to the LRT Kelana Jaya line through the interchange station USJ 7). The SunU - Monash BRT station is directly connected to the campus.​

Reaching Monash University Malaysia directly from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 

 

Several transportation options may be used to travel from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to your hotel or the conference venue. 

 

1. Grab (Taxi) (KLIA to Monash)

2. Airport coach KLIA (Bus) - KL Sentral

• Directions: Proceed to KLIA bus station situated at Ground Floor Block C annex at Main Terminal Building (3 minutes walking distance from arrival hall exit). The bus will depart to KL Sentral from platform 1 KLIA bus station. Purchase ticket at Airport Coach counter 3.

• Price: RM 10

• Schedule: First train at 12am, last train at 11:30pm (train leaves every 30 minutes)

• Duration: 1 hour +

 

3. KLIA express (train) - KL Sentral

• DIrections: KLIA ERL station is located at Level 1 of the Main Terminal Building (MTB) in Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA). Get your ticket from the counter.

• Price: RM 55

• Schedule: First train at 5am last train at 12am (Train leaves every 20 minutes)

• Duration: 28 minutes

 

3. LRT KL Sentral -> LRT USJ 7 -> BRT SunU -  Monash

• Directions: The Coach bus and KLIA express stop near the LRT KL Sentral. Take the Kelana Jaya line to LRT USJ 7. Interchange to BRT USJ 7 to BRT SunU - Monash.

• Duration: 44 minutes
