Welcome to AASP 2025 in Malaysia!

 

We are thrilled to invite you to the 16th Biennial Conference of the Asian Association of Social Psychology, organised by Monash University Malaysia and Nottingham University Malaysia. This prestigious event will take place at Monash University's Bandar Sunway campus, a location that’s both accessible and surrounded by a wide range of accommodation options, as well as some of Malaysia’s best places to eat.

 

Malaysia, a country celebrated for its rich cultural diversity and amazing food, offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that we are eager to share with social psychologists from across the pan-Asian region. During your stay, we hope that you’ll have the opportunity to explore Kuala Lumpur and discover its many attractions.

 

The theme for AASP 2025, “The Social World and Language: Culture, Context, and Connections,” promises to inspire thought-provoking discussions and showcase  innovative research presentations. We look forward to fostering connections between leading researchers and exceptional students, facilitating the exchange of ideas that will advance the field of social psychology in Asia.

 

In response to the diverse needs of our participants, AASP 2025 will be conducted in a fully “live hybrid” format. This approach ensures that attendees from across Asia can participate, whether in-person or virtually, with all symposia and paper sessions available both on-site and via Zoom. We are committed to providing an engaging and interactive experience for all, regardless of how you choose to join us.
